Hello. I am working with a php software project, in it
(www.egroupware.org) Chinese simplified locate is "zh" while Traditional
Chinese "tw".
I wish to send correct language attribute in http header, I found "zh"
is not standard. I found this line in apache2's default httpd.conf
# Simplified Chinese (zh-CN)
AddLanguage zh-CN .zh-cn

My webserver hosts some on-line reports with live data. I have put an html
meta tag to force the client to refresh every 10 minutes so my clients will
always show the latest data ..
<meta http-equiv="Refresh" content="600" />
However, once or twice every day my IP address changes or my WAN link may be
inaccessible for a couple of minutes. If the client refresh occurs during
the period that my host is down or DNS entry is updating...

First of all, I'm an Asian and I need to input Japanese, Korean and so
on. I've tried many PHP IDEs today, but almost non of them supported
Unicode (UTF-8) file.
I've found that the only Unicode support IDEs are DreamWeaver 8 and
Zend PHP Studio.
DreamWeaver provides full support for Unicode. However, DreamWeaver is
a web editor rather than a PHP IDE. It only supports basic IntelliSense
(or code completion) and doesn't have anything...

I have stumbled across various Netscape issues, none of which appear to be
solvable by tweaking the clientTarget or targetSchema properties. At this
point, I'm not even interested in "solving" these problems - I'm more
interested in isolating them, .i.e. finding a "complete" list of issues.
Here's my list of serious issues found so far. By serious, I mean
functionality that fails, as opposed to much less serious (albeit annoying)
display...

Why does this not work as it should?
I expect index.aspx to show:.
Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data
Source=c:\inetpub\wwwroot\ChatSimple\db\chatusers.mdb
Instead, I get:
Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data

I have run into a problem with one of my aspx pages. When I run the
page, I get a "Server Tag Is Not Well Formed" error. This message goes
away when I remove the line with the problem. This simply does not make
any sense. I have triple-checked everything. What am I doing wrong
here?
Below is a snippet of the "problem" line. After that is the entire aspx
page, with the "problem" line marked with HTML comment tags...

Can't find anywhere in the docs that mentions a way to programmatically get
a page's meta tag collection. Reflection finds nothing in attributes. Can't
find anything in a page instance, either. Are they not accessible?

What is the difference between the Page_Init and Page_Load events? When I
was debugging my code, they both seemed to get triggered on every postback.
I am assuming that there is some difference, and I would like to know what
it is so that I can take advantage of it in my code. Thanks.

Hi,
I'm at my wits-end here. I'm a beginner with ASP/C# (using .NET 2003)
and I'm trying to post variables from a classic ASP form to a ASP.NET
form. The Classic ASP form was scripted with VBScript whereas the
ASP.NET page is scripted with C#.
My issue is this: I have two files within the site's working directory
(PaymentPage.aspx and PaymentPage.aspx.cs). The .cs file is the
codebehind for the aspx file. Basically, I can ouput the...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.

Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
