Does anyone have a checklist of the files/operations that are needed
to clone the DB2 ODBC connections that are one one desktop system to
another?
I did this successfully a while ago with another desktop but the
latest one blows up when I attempt to establish a connection through
DBArtisan.
What I did was:
1) ensure that the sqlnodir and sqlnobak diretories exist and are

I have an Access 2003 .mde sitting on an SQL Server. The tables for
the application also sit on the Server. I'm having a problem with
ODBC on only one of about 10 machines. All the other machines using my
Access 2003 .mde see the linked tables without a problem. I've
configured the User DSN (under Control Panel, Administrative Tools)
tab to match what the other machines are set to, but this didn't work.
I keep getting an error message...

Hi,
I have an access application that has been working fine for the past
few years.Access 2000 is used for the user interface and Oracle the
database.
Recently the application was moved to a citrix environment. On this
citrix environment is one copy of the mde and the oracle odbc driver to
connect to the database. When a user logs into Citrix and runs the
application they get their own copy of the mde copied to a directory
and it is...

Hello,
Where does the ODBC Data Source Admin tool store the connection
information for User, System or File DSNs? A coworker created/used
several ODBC connections on his machine, we backed up most of his files
but did not make an image (Ghost), wiped the HD and now I am having to
reconstitute his ODBC connections from memory. I would like to find a
file or something that has all that information stored. Am I SOL? Any
thoughts?

Hello guys!
Bear with me, I am a newbie.
She is the Data Warehouse manager. She has about 50 users to use the
Oracle database from M$ Access via ODBC connection. All those users
have only SELECT privileges on certain tables. I built all the roles
and users for them and they work fine.
Then she asked "Why do YOU let them see all those system tables?",

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
