How to make the DTS package fail, when the source table is empty while transfering data from source to destination.
Hi,
you will have to specify a T-SQL statement stating if it fails dont run DTS. Its easy to do it in MS SQL 2005 and it has added features.

Jeg har lavet en DTS-package og den virker når jeg kører den pr. håndkraft,
men når den køres af SQL Server Agenten, fejler den.
Det skal også lige siges at jeg har brugt guiden til at oprette en
"standard" vedligeholdelse/backup rutine. Den går heller ikke så godt. Den
kører optimization's men ikke integrity check eller backup (vist fordi
integrity check'et fejlede).

Hi,
I made a DTS-package and it works when I execute it manually, but when it is
run by the SQL Server Agent, it fails.
I have use the guide to create a maintenance plan. That doesn't work so good
either. It runs Optimizations, but not integrity checks or backups (probably
because integrity checks failed).

I can't make this script work properly. I've gone as far as I can with
it and the rest is out of my ability. I can do some html editing but
I'm lost in the Java world. The script at the bottom of the html page

Hi All
I downloaded Sql server 2005 express SP2 and attempted to modify the
Bootstrapper package files as I did with SP1
When i try to install SQL server as part of my VS 2005 deployment app I get
an error at the end of the SQL server install phase 'Invalid endpoint'.
(Note SQL server express gets installed OK)
If I run SQL server express SP2 setup directly it I don't get the error

I've taken a four days training in C#, very good training, experienced
teacher and all that, very positive.
Went home spent a week making my first application, slightly more than the

DSN ODBC pwd not saved when SSIS package imported
SQL Server 2005 SP2 (Windows 32bit version)
Implemented and FULLY tested a SSIS package with BIDs.
This package uses a Data Reader object using a ODBC data source with a stored username (uid) and password (pwd).

This is my first custom installer and essentially I needed to create one that
installed windows installer 3.1 then installed .Net 2.0 Service Pack 1. I
could not find a pre-packaged .Net 2.o SP 1 installer package anywhere so
this is my attempt.
The problem seems to be that when I first created it if .NET 2.0 was
installed it would not install .NET 2.0 SP1 so I commented out the line where
