Hi again,
I have a problem with replication on SQLServer 2000. I've started "Configure
Publishing and Distribution Wizard" and SQLSrvr posted message "SQLServer
Enterprise Manager colud not configure 'DANILOPOPOVIC' as the Distributor
for 'DANILOPOPOVIC'. Error 14234: The specified '@Server' is invalid (valid
values are returned by sp_helpserver'. I didn't type server name "@Server",
because I've used wizard.What is a problem?

I'm struggling to find an answer to this one!
We've configured our SQL boxes to run under a different port number,
e.g. from 1433 to 4533. This works fine under our Citrix enviornmnet
where the dsn is configured to use the new port. The problem comes in
terms of SQL Server management. For example, when you try and
configure SQL Replication, it is not possible to add the subscriber
unless the SQL Servce runs under port 1433,...

For some magical reason, my database replication has suddenly stopped
working. I modified the publication but the Distribution agent will
not run; the snapshot does not get applied to the subscriber, and
changes made at the publisher do not get replicated.
My configuration is: Transactional Replication with a 'Pull'
Subscription. The Subscriber is Updateable with Immediate Updates

My Company currently has a database that is being replicated to an MSDE
Database on several laptops. Replication is anonymous, merge over
TCP/IP.
I am in need of a way to generate a monthly report which would show how
many times each laptop had replicated, how many updates, inserts, etc.

I'm working on two SQL server databases on two different remote
servers. What client needs is that his database on one remote server
should be mirrored to the other one. The changed should be propogated at
regular intervals at the other server.
