Hi.
I am writing a program to help determine coumadin regimens
to look at the code: http://sourceforge.net/projects/coumadinregimen/
The issue is that I have a variable that I want the use to select if
they don't like the default.
I have made this as a listbox widget
The rest of the gui is just entry widgets
What I noticed is that when I tab to through the entry widgets, I
lose the listbox selection: the item selected, gets unselected.
Not sure what is happening,hope I have explained it.

Usual tk/Tkinter pitfall: the selected item in a list box is by default
considered as a text selection. Since you can only have one text selected
at a time, selecting anything anywhere will unselect the item in the list.
To avoid this, use the exportselection =0 option when you're creating your
Listbox.

I'm trying to make a custom entry widget, as in the code that follows.
There are two problems I'm trying to fix:
1) I would like the widget to behave as myEntry.Escape() does now,
except that it happens on loss of focus, not when pressing Esc.
2) TABbing between multiple entry fields does undesired things with
the selection, and with cursor placement.
Can anyone offer any suggestions for how to fix this? I'm attemting to

I've created a ghetto-ized ComboBox that should work nicely for Tkinter
(unfortunately no dropdown capabilities yet).
I've found why it's such a pain in the @ss to create one. You have to
re-create common methods and make sure they're mapped to the right
component (inside this widget are frame, entry, listbox, and scrollbar
widgets). I tried to look for ways I could inherit some methods from
other widgets but couldn't think of how to do...

Hello All -
I have 2 list boxes. Items in Left list box populated from a DB. I remove
an item from the left box and add an item to the right box to allow user
selection. When that item is removed again, the item is in the bottom of
the listbox on the left.
Here is the remove code snippet.... How do I sort to original alphabetical
