Modifying body of select message in a 'mbox' file.

I am been playing with the 'email' and 'mailbox' modules trying to read
in an email at a time from an mbox file, add something to the body of a
message and then write that change back out in 'mbox' format again.

Is there any code floating around out there that allows you to take a
message from 'mailbox', modify it with 'email' and then write it back
out via 'mailbox' again?

thanks!

Well.. I hate to reply to my own post.. but here is an update..

When I flatten a 'mbox' mail message and suck it into a 'email' mail
message.. things look fine except that every MIME encoded section has a
'UNIX From' header added to the top of it.... and the From user is set
to 'nobody'..

Does anyone know why this 'From' header is added to every MIME encoded
section in the body?

thanks!

Is it possible to extract the email-body from a IMAP-mail-file ? The function 'imap_body()' expects that I'm connected to an IMAP-server, but I'm not. I just have the file. So I'm looking for a possiblity to use imap_body and give the name of the file as a parameter. Thanks in advance.

As you can see I have tried a few things but no joy what am I missing. Is the another snippet in relation to get_payload to access the body contents print and process to a file. Cheers

Hi, I’m trying to modify a DHTML editor that parses a style-sheet via PHP and instead of modifying the tags via execCommand(), find a way of writing inline styles by way of adding <span style=> tags around the selected text. Easier said than done. My first though was to do a search and replace on the innerHTML, but falls down if there is more than one match (it will only modify the first occurrence). I suspect that even if I could

Ok, we are all aware of the situation where modifying the folder structure (adding files, folders, deleting files, etc) will result in ASP.NET triggering a recompilation/restart of the application. In a nutshell, I understand how this can be considered desireable by some, but I am not one of those people. My situation is that we have a root site (hosted @ http://www.mydomain.com) in the root application folder '/'.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
