Hello to everybody, and Emacs users in the Python community.
The Pymacs project (described below) now has new maintainer: Syver
Enstad <syver@inout.no>. I'm inviting Pymacs users to collaborate with
Syver as nicely as they always did with me. Syver himself has always
been known to me as a helpful, competent and enthusiastic Pymacs user.
Future announcement or news, as well as any decision about Pymacs,
will originate from Syver...

gone missing, I have decided to take over the project. The new home of
the informixdb module is http://sourceforge.net/projects/informixdb .

I am taking over the maintenance and support of py2exe from Thomas
Heller. As he announced a few weeks ago he is looking to focus on other
things. py2exe has been very useful to me over the years and I look
forward to keeping it every bit as useful in the future.
I plan to make the transition as smooth as possible for users of py2exe.
I don't plan to make changes to the license other than adding my name to
the list of people not to sue....

There is a form (single form) and a combobox. I want that current record of
the form is adjusted according to selected value in the combobox. Cuurrent
record should be the same as the value in the combobox.
What is the solution?

I'm working on a IHttpModule that handles the PreSendRequestHeaders event
from the HttpApplication, if the event is raised after EndRequest then
HttpContext.Current is null. If it is raised before EndRequest (by turning
response buffering off) then HttpContext.Current is set.
To repo add the following to Global.asax
protected void Application_PreSendRequestHeaders(object sender, EventArgs e)

So, I've made a couple of small but useful additions to
the xml-rpc package. Is there an assigned maintainer
of the package I should communicate with?
I've got the server side running under apache/mod_python, which
is a bit more industrial strength than the simple xmlrpc server,
and a patch for 64 bit int values.
I'd like to get these into wider circulation if possible...
what's the best way to do this?

last month after a diving accident.
Kinterbasdb is the python wrapper around the Firebird
database api and an excellent opensource project.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
