Hello,
We have a C#.NET app which is calling a Java webservice. We use the wsdl
file exportted from the java webservice to create our web-reference in Visual
Studio. We are able to create the parameter classes and call the webservice
just fine.
Our problem is, within our .Net app, we have some value objects ( like

From the psql command line, I am having absolutely no problems
inserting a NULL value into a date datatype field.
When attempting to insert a NULL value via my Web app using SQL Relay,
I am getting the following error:
DBD::Pg::st execute failed: ERROR: invalid input syntax for type

Occasionally I want to store a null value for my java.sql.Time--> Time
column in Postgresql.
update event set game_clock=null where event_id=1;
I can retreive the record with the null value (type Time) if I select
on the primary key,
select game_clock from event where event_id = 1;
but when I try to select on the null column value, I get zero records.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
