HI fellow php fans,
I am blocked with a simple problem, at least it seems simple,
but I cannot make it through.
I want to execute a .php script in case of "error 404, page not
found".
I am not yet on a production server but on my local Apache server.
I have defined my personal error file.
I have modified the apache configuration httpd.conf to point to this

At my company we are looking at deploying clients for our client/server
app outside our firewall, which will then require our postgres box to be
internet-accessible.
Does anyone out there have experience with this or recommended best
practices? We have been looking at either (a) tunnelling everything
over ssh, or (b) just making sure that users have "strong" passwords and
requiring "md5" authentication in pg_hba.conf.
Our client app...

I have a table with columns
(product_id,related_product_id,related_counter)
If product A is related to product B then a record should be created,
if the record already exists then the related_counter should be
incremented.
This is very easy to do with MySQL using INSERT... ON DUPLICATE KEY.
Standard or not, it is very usefull.

Would like to run the control panel's
Internet Date & Time program from VBA
- emulating opening it, clicking the Internet
Time tab and the Update Now button.
I don't really care for the user to see all
this. Would just like to sync the system
time with the facility built-in to XP and
automatically w/o asking the user to go
through the steps manually.

Hi,
When one of my users are navigating my ASP website, and click on submit type
button to move from Page1.asp to another ASP page, Page2.asp, they are
getting message like
"Internet explorer cannot download <asp pagefrom <server>. Internet
Explorer was not able to open this Internet site. The requested site is
either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later."

I was wondering if anyone knows whether MS has a fix for the Menu
Control. If the page is loading while you mouse over a menu control
with child menus that pop out, you can generate the following error in
IE.
Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site...

I'd like to programmatically be able to determine if a network
interface is currently in "Local Only" or "Local and Internet" access
mode. Also I wasn't sure if this is only applicable to Windows
Vista? If not possible in C#, maybe netsh can do it?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.

Adolph will...
