Not built in. You'll need to use some kind of pattern matching to strip
off the leading articles.

Can anyone tell me why I might be getting a 500 error trying to use this VBS template in ASP? The only thing I could see to do to make it work in ASP was to add Server.CreateObject instead of CreateObject. But, obviously there is something more. Are the WITH statements ok or do they need to be changed ? Dim iMsg Dim iConf Dim Flds

Hi all, A while back I asked how to sort an array of strings which would have numerals and I wanted to put them in sequential numerical order. For example: myArray = "file1"; myArray = "file2"; myArray = "file3"; myArray = "file4"; myArray = "file5";

I'm just starting the process of reorganising my modest little website and cleaning up all the HTML, and the logical place to begin was with the homepage. I made a simple little ASP.NET control that I can drop into the beginning of any page and it will generate HTML to display my logo, a link, and (optionally) a quote of the day, all of which will be horizontally centered at the top of the page by my default stylesheet. For the main page,...

There is a longer article about this subject here: http://www.codeproject.com/useritems/SortedList_Bug.asp See the main article and the reply thread started by Robert Rohde. Alternatively look at this code: ArrayList a=new ArrayList(); string s1 = "-0.67:-0.33:0.33"; string s2 = "0.67:-0.33:0.33";

I have tried to research this and I'm worried the answer is already in this forum and I just didn't search under the correct word. However, I'm wanting to sort a table of job numbers while ignoring the first digit of the number. For example if the job number is 65599 I want it to sort the table using the last four digits of the number. All the job numbers have 5 digits but none of the digits are constant. Is this possible? Thanks...

Using Access 2000. I need to group the address by suburb then by street name in my report. Two major problems here: 1. Unit number has the word "Unit" before number 2. Semi detach house has "a" or "b" after number Examples of the addresses as below. Address 1 means the first line/field for users to key address in line one, Address 2 means second line/field two for users to key address, normally village, park or street name eg.1,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies.
