Twist in call to undefined function

2 New Member
Hi All...
My development site is working on PHP5 and GD 1.6.2 without Freetype support. Resultantly I am not able to work with functions like imagefttext or imagettftext or the image*box counterparts either. After talking over m=with my Admin, I cannot think of installing/compiling the libraries/PHP.
So can anyone tell me a workaround for this particular code?
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. list($llx, $lly, $lrx, $lry, $urx, $ury, $ulx, $uly) = imagefttext($img, $fontSize, 0, 0, 0, $color->getColor($img), $fontFileName, $text);
Its a very urgent requirement. Any help is appreciated.
Regards,
Smita

Any comments on the correctness of the statements 1, 2a, 2b, 3 and 4 in the code below? If they are correct, then the definition of an object as well as that of an lvalue is broken in C99 by the following reasoning: foo() does not return an object, so the return of foo() conceptually is not stored, yet we are able to obtain a pointer to one of its member elements, therefore it must be stored, therefore foo() does return an object,...

Hi,all! I found an interesting problem,it is that how to implement a C function which can be called once and return twice? Just like the POSIX function fork() or the library function longjmp().Only via using asm? It is strange that I have searched the google groups and FAQs of this group and "googled" the internet but find none useful info. Thanks for any reply!

There was a way to trinck program to call purly abstract non-existing method (causing undefined behaviour), I would like to try that for curiosity (how different compilers/platforms react), how to do it?

Hi, I can compile and run this code (see below) which twice calls the function f, first with too less, second with too much arguments. But is it legal and free of memory leaks and other problems? Of course, I presume that inside f I don't access i in case it was called via g. int f(int i){ /* ... */ return 0; }

Consider the variadic function with the following prototype: int foo(int num,...); Here 'num' specifies the number of arguments, and assume that all the arguments that should be passed to this function are of type int. (My question has nothing to do with the definition of the function foo, so don't bother about it.) If I call the function as: foo(2,3,4,5,6,7,8);/*More arguments than expected*/

Hello all! ( again ) Once more, I have a problem that seems unsolvable by me. I'm getting the, seemingly common, "undefined reference" linking error. I've tried quite a few things, but nothing is working. I'll list what I've tried at the end of my post. Until then, here's the error message, and the code ( Sorry...( length ) ) :

Hi everyone - I am not quite sure to understand what is really going on when a function defined in one translation unit calls a function defined in a different translation unit without knowing its prototype. Let's say for instance : foo.c #include <stdio.h>

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
