Can anyone recommend a good tool to crawl asp pages and make note of which
Pages, Images, Includes, Etc. are used on a web site and which pages are not
used? I have inherited a website that is several years old that the prior
webmaster never did any cleanup when they removed links, includes, etc.
Thanks on advance.

I was told in another newsgroup (about XML, I was wondering how to
control user input) that most modern browsers empower the designer to
cast the user created input to a particular character encoding. This
arose in answer to my question about how to control user input. I had
complained that I had users who wrote articles in Microsoft Word or
WordPerfect and then input that to the web through a textarea box on a
form I'd created.
I've...

I am trying to crawl my site to get a list of all the links. I am using the
regular
expressions to get the href tags from the pages and reading the source pages
using
xmlhttp module.
Is there an efficient way to loop through the links?
I am looping through the links and avoiding the duplicate links, but it is
taking over 2 hours to crawl my site!!
What am i doing wrong? What is making it sooooo slow.

I am updating a VB4.0 quote generation program to VB.net. The old
program takes user inputs, performs calculations, saves the data to
Access databases and uses Crystal Reports 5.0 to generate a quote. A
while back users obviously wanted to be able to edit/e-mail ...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
