flash banner not showing in Netscape browsers(7.x)

I just got my site up and low and behold, my flash banner does not
show in Netscape, only in IE. It shows on Netscape in my local testing
enviornment, this is why I felt all was fine. the site is at
www.derouenfamily.com

If you see a blank white space where a banner should be, thats it..
its at the top of most of the pages.

Am I nieve, is this something that is known, or is there a simple fix
to this. Alot of the postings speak of POSR bugs et al. All
elaborators will be appriciated.

Tanks.

What does this have to do with PHP?

go to

http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=ht...uenfamily.com/

to check the validity of your page

<snip!>

It works for me on Mozilla 1.4/Linux.

Not really a PHP question, though.

Hi, I use a handy little Javascript Flash detection script on a number of sites (copied below). Usually works great, but I just started trying Firefox and it's not working. A few browsers are referenced in the script so I presume that Firefox needs to be added somewhere -- does anyone know how I could update this to be supported by Firefox? Thanks! <SCRIPT TYPE="text/JavaScript">

Hi I have designed a simple DHTML menu which comes over a flash animation when it appears. I have set the window mode as transparent in the flash project. This menu is showing fine when seen with IE, Netscape, Firefox. Yet in Opera the menu is going behind the flash animation. Can anyone suggest a solution to solve this issue. Thanks

Hello, I have Netscape 8.0.4 (in Firefox mode) and Flash 8.0.24.0. I also have IE and Firefox installed. If I go to this page, which contains a Flash detection movie: http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_15507 all three browers successfully run the Flash movie and show the same version of Flash to be installed. However, if I try to use a javascript Flash detection solution, it does

Hi hopefully someone has come accross this issue, as it's doing my head in. We have a flash (.SWF file) banner to display, which does so fine in IE, but in firefox only seems to be about 1/3 size so looks tiny. Does anyone have any ideas? I've included the cut down code below...copy and paste where appropriate. The web page has an embedded web control. The Web control references an external javascript file rather than having the...

Hi everyone, I have a simple sight that has a unique flash banner for every button of my navigation. so my navigation looks something like this (home, services, location, etc..) when a user clicks on home, it has a flash banner specific to home, same deal for the other sections. This works fine, but I have an iFrame in the middle of my site (i did this in order to maintain my formatting for pages with long text). If someone is in...

I'm trying to center this banner, it's in a div that has the same width so it's not exactly "centering" but it's screwed up, It works in safari but in Firefox it's messed up. What I have now is a static banner that loads as an background-image via css stylesheet but I put on top of that a flash banner so it would load the static banner and the flash will fade in. The problem is is that that flash banner is a part of the html so when I change stylesheets the flash banner stays. Is there a way to make a javascript to do such a thing? Just noting here that I've never coded javascript. Oh and this is where I...

Inserting a Flash (SWF, FLV) file into HTML web page is already an old and familiar thing to all of us. It is a rather non-flexible thing that just to edit some options in the template. However, I did not understand some parameters totally in the HTML tag. These days when I was surfing the Internet I have found some comprehensive introduction to these two tags. I read it and conclude it with my own words; I think it will be useful to us, so I...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
