Site to site content

I am looking for a PHP function that can display content from a
separate site preferably with error handling. This is in lieu of using
frames. Something similar to the ColdFusion tag cfhttp.

Thanks in advance.

This si a repost, I apologize but perhaps my original inquiry got buried under all the usenet spam... I need some help getting started with a .NET web project for a commercial site. I am new to .NET and my understanding of some (but not all) of its concepts is a little sparse. I apologize for the length of this message, but hopefully it will help someone here give me the most concise and useful information, and perhaps help others out...

A friend of mine pointed out the other day that certain elements on my web site are too small. But in most of what I publish, fonts are at default size or smaller, and my images are easy to see. I am viewing at 800x600 right now by the way, because that's what I can comfortably see. Times New Roman default pitch is what - 12px? With people increasing their screen resolutions, is it possible for "default size to ever become too small in...

I'm sure it must be do-able. I know better than to mention the term "S__dK__ys" in conjunction with this topic. I've read enough in here to know that is extremely unreliable. Am sorry even that I have to use IE...

I have a series of web applications (configured as separate applications) on a server. There is a main application at the root and then several virtual directories that are independant applications. I am testing an upgrade of all of the sites and have converted the main root site...although not necessarily fixed any issues. I move on instead and converted one of the virtual roots that is a seperate

Hi, Since I have made changes to my website it's been a complete flop. According to the logs, as soon as visitors have downloaded the index page they are off. I can't figure out why? http://www.review-a-gadget.com/ Is there anything obvious that I am missing? Are there problems with some browsers? Please let me know if you notice anything.

I help manage a large web site, one that has over 600 html pages... It's a reference site for ham radio folks and as an example, one page indexes over 1.8 gb of on-line PDF documents. The site is structured as an upside-down tree, and (if I remember correctly) never more than 4 levels. The site basically grew (like the creeping black blob) ... all the pages were created in Notepad over the last

I'm part of an organization with activities in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Some activities are local to each country, while others are common. Now we want a website to inform the members and public. We plan to register one domain for each country. The idea is that you'd get the same page regardless of which domain you're visiting. The pages could exist in different languages, and the user could be served his preferred language according to...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
