I know "eval" and "if ($@)" is the equivalent of a try/catch in the C
programming world. My question is how to basically throw an error in
one perl script that can be caught by another? For example:
ScriptA.pl:
-----------
typical perl code but when we are done, do we exit, die, or warn so
that ScriptB.pl can pick it up? EX:
ScriptB.pl

I am trying to get my select options (courses) passed correctly from

Please forgive my simple question, but i don't know the correct synatx.
From the masterpage i want to put a text in an textbox and then select an
item in the datagrid. I do know how to pass the items in the datagrid(e.g.
PLU, description, etc.) to an other (detail)page, but i don't know the

I have a CGI/Perl program that returns a string output. Is it possible
to get this into a Javascript variable, where the name of the variable
is defined in the Javascript and not in the Perl code? For example, it
seems that the following should work, but it doesn't appear to. Is
