Active Calendar is an ASP.NET server control that allows users to
select a date and/or time quickly using a professional looking date
picker with a client-side managed event system. No postback to the

Hello, I'm trying to make a socket connection from a legacy VB6 app to a .net
TCP server. The VB6 app is tested and works well against a VB6 server, but
when I try it against my .net server it just opens the socket and instantly
closes the connection right before the next instruction so I can't send the
data.
The .net server receives the connection (I see that it creates the socket)
but never receives the data. Anyone has any idea about...

Hello there,
I have a custom ASP.Net application.
I would like to place custom Java code within ASP.Net. so i would like
to follow the approach of creating Java Server Controls and then
placing them in ASp.NEt.
I read that the equivalent of ASP.NET is Java Server Faces.

Hello,
When I installed Visual Studio .NET 2002 on a .NET Server trial version at
the office it said the product had incompatibilities with .NET Server. Has
anybody had any problems?
I have problems creating Web applications with this version of Visual Studio
in .NET Server 2003? Do I need Visual Studio 2003?
Thanks in advance,

Greetings!
I am currently unemployed. In early December, we thought my wife was going
to get a job, so she approved my purchase of a modern computer that I could
run the .Net environment on and begin teaching myself. I had to keep cost
way down, so I chose the XP Home operating system. I installed Visual
Studio .Net 2002 and began porting a program I had written in VB6. I had
hoped to convert it to a Web application using ASP.Net as...

I've decided that we're just going to have to bit the bullet and write our
own server control with client side JavaScript to handle a specific
requirement. Anyone know where in MSDN is the chapter on writing your own
server controls? I can find lots of individual references but not the "root"
:-)
Thanks, Rob.

I'm new to asp.net. I'm trying to follow the tutorial walkthroughs and have
got a few done. Now I'm doing the one about validating input, and I've run
into some problems.
In particular, I am watching very intermittent behavior of my ASP page.
when I execute:

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
