I am the poster of the thread : 'Has anybody succesfully used VB.NET on
Oracle on UNIX ? '
Some has teplied that It will be just fine.
I forget to mention, we are using Crystal report for reporting tool.
If .NET works fine with Oracle database on UNIX, what about Crystal report ?
Can we use Crystal Report.NET as reporting tool to access Oracle on UNIX ?

High there everyone,
I have inherited a database with an odbc table (linking to an oracle
database) , we have recently updated our operating environment to
windows 2000 (access 2000). since then everytime i try to add a
record to the linked table i get the following error ODBC call failed
sqlerrm(tablename)(#-391)
I have found out that the sqlerrm table in oracle is an error table
but I haven't been able to find out what is causing...

Architecture: Access 2003 client, Oracle 9i repository, no Access security
in place, ODBC linked tables.
100 or so users, in 3 or 4 groups (Oracle roles actually): Admins, Updaters
and ReadOnly. Each group sees a different set of menu options when they
open the client and login to Oracle.
For the sake of speed I use pass-through queries here and there for updates
and deletes. I update their SQL property in code and execute them.

Now a days I m building a web site using ASP.NET with Oracle 10g 10.1.0 as
back hand . I have set uped the server well but when i Tried to connect
through that server programaticaly from different pc. i give me an error .
may be there is a Client tool issue kindly guid what should i do to connect
thorough that oracle server using ASP.NET.

Can anyone tell me how to access oracle from php. Im using CentOS 4
with php4 already installed. From what I found after a bit of
googling...php will have to be recompiled with oracle support. This
seems to be a lot tedious.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
