ORA-06531: Reference to uninitialized collection

Hi,

I have made the following declarations


I created an object as below.

create or replace type emp_obj as object(
emp_id number(6),
email varchar2(25)
);

I create a table of the object as below.

create or replace type emp_obj_table as table of emp_obj;

Then I created a function which would return the table of objects for a given department as below.

create or replace function emp_table_fnc(d pt employees.depar tment_id%type)
return emp_obj_table as
emp_tbl emp_obj_table;
k number := 1;
begin
for i in (select employee_id, email from employees where department_id = dept)

loop
emp_tbl(k).emp_ id := i.employee_id;
emp_tbl(k).emai l := i.email;
k := k + 1;
end loop;
return emp_tbl;


Now when I execute the below code, I am getting the below error...So please help me out...
