I'm trying to write some code that will convert any of the most popular
standard date formats twice in to something like "dd Mmm yyyy" (i.e. 08 Jan
1908) and compare the first with the second and calculate days, months, and
years. This is not for a college course. It's for my own personal
genealogy website. I'm stumped about the code. I'm working on it but not
making much progress. Is there any free code available anywhere? I know it...

Hi,
I am trying to validate these values, this seems to work fine for the
phone number and name but I am trying to get the program to fail to
submit and set the focus on the date when 2006 is selected and
submitted.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I wish to validate the date a user has entered against the format dd
mmm yyyy
Using the CompareValidator and DataTypeCheck does not work and I
suspect that a Regular Expression is over-engineering. Does anybody
have a simple solution please?
Many thanks in advance.

I have a textbox where users type in a date. I want to check that the input
is between year 2000 and the current date.
Here is segment of the codes that give me the "Server tags cannot contain
<%...%> construct"
<asp:rangevalidator id="startDateValidator" runat="server" Type="Date"
MinimumValue="1/1/2000"
MaximumValue=<%=DateTime.Now.ToShortDateString()%>

Hello,
I put a compare validator in to my applications and set the type as Date. It
works for “MM/dd/yyyy” but not for “MM/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss”. How can I validate
time part too?
Thanks,

Hi,
I have a working script that converts a dd/mm/yyyy text box date entry
to yyyy/mm/dd and compares it to the current date, giving an error
through an asp.net custom validator, it is as follows:
function doDateCheckNow(source, args)
{
var oDate = document.getElementById(source.controltovalidate); //
dd/mm/yyyy

What date format does the Compare Validator check against? The date
format of the web server or of the client?
<asp:CompareValidator ID="CompareValidator2" runat="server"
Display="None"
ErrorMessage="Please enter a valid date in format dd/mm/yyyy"
ControlToValidate="txtDueDate" Type="Date"
Operator="DataTypeCheck"></asp:CompareValidator>

Hi there,
I have a web app written in 1.1 in ASP.net and C#. In the web app, I need to
compare two dates (from and to) from two textboxes on webpage to make sure
the to date is greater than or equal to from date, by using comparevalidator
control. The app is working fine in production server, but recently when I
put the code into development environment (Windows 2000 server), the
comparison is not working properly. Even I set the date...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development projectplanning, coding, testing, and deploymentwithout human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
