You should've posted your question in the .NET Forums section instead of the
.NET Articles section. I'll move your question to the correct section; good luck.

kind regards,

I am using Crystal Enterprise V9. I have a report that needs to have multiple datasets as the datasource(s) on a single subreport (some common lookup data I need to join to is stored in a seperate dataset). The report is working fine with a single dataset as a datasource, but I cannot seem to find any examples of multiple datasets as a datasource. Is this possible? ReportDocument.SetDatasource() seems to only take a single dataset,...

Hello, I have a multithreaded windows NT service application (vb.net 2003) that I am working on (my first one), which reads a message queue and creates multiple threads to perform the processing for long running reports. When the processing is complete it uses crystal reports to load a template file, populate it, and then export it to a PDF. It works fine so far....

Hi, I'm brand new to Crystal Reports and have just gotten my feet wet with VS.Net. I have a web application in ASP.NET 2.0 (VB) that writes to a SQL Server 2005 database. I need to utilize Crystal Reports to create lengthy, multiple page legal documents pulling information from one record in the database.

Hello to all, I have a problem which could be trivial to you guys. This concerns opening several crystal reports on the a crystal viewer on an ASPX page by calling window.open. My application. 1.) 2 webforms - 1 main web form that filters that dataset - 1 reportviewer web form that displays the filtered dataset.

First let me start by saying that this problem is not consistently reproducible. I have a windows service that creates reports for a group of entities. This service can process multiple groups at a single time, where each group is running in a separate thread. I have noticed mixed behavior when running multiple groups at one time (in separate threads). I have received the following two messages logged as errors. - A Crystal Reports...

We've got an old VB6 application which has 9 Crystal Reports it can print. These 9 reports are considered by our users to be in essence one "report", in the sense that they are all related and they cannot make their business plans without all 9 reports. However, they really are 9 separate reports, 7 of which have sub-reports in them. One of my colleagues has been working on converting them from the VB6 app, to .RPT files which can be...

Hows it going everyone. Im pretty new to Crystal Reports, and am in the process of trying to setup my first Crystal Report in my windows app. I am loading data from a DataSet, and am finally getting all the data loaded correctly, but the problem is it just keeps repeating the details section. I have 5 sub reports, each with their own table of data from which to get data. The report is generated correctly, but it just continuously is repeating...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
