What I am trying here to do is in onkeyup event handler
http://www.hot.ee/idaliiga/braggart/createEventTest.htm
generate a (shift)TAB keydown so the focus would move to the
(previous/next ) input element.

I've been mucking around with databinding & I am seeing something I
can't explain...
I have a collection (PersonList) that inherits from CollectionBase and
implements IBindingList. It contains Person objects that implement
IEditableObject.
I have a windows form with three text boxes (last, first & middle name)
and next/prev navigation buttons. There are also two additional buttons
to programmatically change values in the first item in...

Hi
I wanted to programmatically disable events like SelectedIndexChanged without
using a boolean flag, which indeed I find a quick and dirty solution. So, I
found a
piece of code that do this more elegant:

Hi,
I'd like to know if it makes sense to define an event in an
interface. Something like:
public interface class MyInterface1
{
event PropertyChangedEventHandler^ PropertyChanged;
} ;
In particular, what will happen if a class derives from two interfaces

I have a problem I hope you folks can help me with.
I have an application that is using a tab-based interface, with the ability
for users to drag an item from a ListBox onto the tab control. This will
create a new tab, put a new instance of the proper UserControl into the tab,
and populate said UserControl with the data culled from the drop source.
Because of the nature of this application, the particular UserControl that
will be...

In a VB.Net Windows Forms application, I have a user control that
handles mouse events. Another section of code programmatically adds a
label to the control. I would like label to ignore all events allowing
the user control to react to the mouse click.
Setting the Enabled property on the label to False comes close, but I
don't want the font color to change. Does anyone have an idea how .NET
implements the code behind the Enabled...

I am creating a gridview programmatically and am using a Template for one
column. The template is derived from a custom class that inherits ITemplate.
There are two buttons in the template
The problem that I am encountering is that the button click events for the
two buttons are not captured by the RowCommand of the GridView. I have been
unable to determine a way of capturing the click events for these templated
buttons.
Anyone run...

Hi,
Here I mean "User" in the Programmer or Javascript sense. I merely wish to
programmatically trigger an Event. It would be absolutely fantastic if there
was a (Form level?) ONUSEREVENT() and a setEvent() function but, in the
absence of this, is it not possible to use DOM to change an object's
properties resulting in a state-change event?
I have tried with ONCHANGE() and that only seems to work if the
"interactive" user changes the...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
