How can we identify that web application is close

7 New Member
Hello
Great Developers

I am working in Asp.net 2.0.
I want to know how to identify that our web application is close so that cookies get expire.Actually I want to expire cookies whenever web application browser is closed without logout. When user manually logout then it is easy to expire cookies. But if he/she just close the web browser then how cookies will expire.

The situation is become more critical when mutliple browser open.

I think i repeat same line.

One more think I want to know how to maintain single user of web application.

Please send me litle bit code or proper link.
Thanks

i think that is not possible
if u want to close the application without logout , then u have to manulay remove te cookies bye going to control panel / internet option/ general
and also u logout manully u to do again the same process .
but in both cases cookes are expired either u manualy logiut or close the application directly
also on run comand type
%temp%
and easily delete cookises , temperory files
===============
and u r developing a site in asp.net
just remember to use FINALY case whenever u create new instance that automaticaly experies cookise during run time and also make easy runing to web page

For example, let's say I'm user "Michael" that's sitting down at my machine using the app. I've written. The security...

I asked this question last week, but received no reply so I'll try one more time. It may be that there is no good answer. If you have an application which overrides the onClosing event handler how can the app determine whether the event was caused by the user selecting the close control ('X') vs something like a system shutdown? The sender object passed through to the event handler indicates the event was generated by this.form in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
