Hi,
I`m in the process of migrating a Access 2002 (Run in 2000 mode) from
Windows 98 to Win2K Server. It is a shared resource via a file share on
the 98 Server. Client systems are Win98 with the shared drive mounted
and the application run via the shared drive.
I have tried once before, but came across some file locking issues. I
thought i had addressed these file locking issues, but it came apparent
I hadn't when data started to get...

Hello, I am trying to figure out how to put my application onto the server. I am deploying to a Windows 2000 Server
When I bring up Internet Services Manager and navigate to the Default Web site and I right click on the default web site folder, do I choose "New Site" or "New Vitural Directory"
I am guessing that I would choose "Virtual Directory", but I was not sure. When I follow thought on Virtual Directory option, when I look at the...

Hi,
I just installed the VS.Studio 2005 Team Edition for Developper and
encountered
severe problems with debugging ASP.NET 2.0 projects. Even newly empty
created ASP 2.0 projects can't debug (setting breakpoint in page_load()). I'm
getting the following message:
"Unable to start debugging on the web server. An error occurred that usually
indicates a corrupt installation (code 0x80004002). If the problem persists,

Hello all,
I have a database around 600GB and all tables were self-created by the
application. Hence, we have only one huge SMS tablespace where all the
tables are stored. To get better performance, we are planning to move
the tables to a DMS tablespace with multiple containers. There are LOTS
of tables and some tables have almost 40GB of data. Can you please
suggest and efficient way of doing this.
Also, I know that even a 32KB page...

Hi,
What I wanted to do is to call a function from a newly created
element. But it stumbled me.
Here's the line that references the newly created element and I used
the alert function for debugging for now. Did I mess up all these
quotes?
// once again this is the key line of code, problem area, disregard

I have a winform with two text-boxes, both associated with a folder

First text-box has the origin folder, and the other points to the

Aditionally, I have a "backup" folder.
The CONTENT of the origin folder is copied into destination's. But
first, I have to move all the destination content to a new subfolder

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
