Hi,
I'm looking for some easy way to do something like include in c or PHP.
Imagine I would like to have:
cat somefile.py
a = 222
b = 111
c = 9

I have a .shtml file, that displays photos, in which I wish to pass some
functionality off to an Include file for reusability purposes.
Unfortunately, it's not working.
Here is a portion of the .shtml file:
======
<!--#include file="/tmb8/functions.inc"-->
<script type="text/javascript">
var title = "Noosa, Australia - October / November 2003"

Forget the exact definition of difference between,
#include <foo.h>
and
#include "bar.h"
Normally foo.h is a standard header file, so it's path is not defined
in compiler option, but I am curious how compiler find it.

Can #include safely use a preprocessing token, as in
#define HEADERFILE "stdio.h"
#include HEADERFILE
int main(void) {return printf("Hello, world\n")*0;}
TIA,

Is there any way for one Session to remove and update objects in another
Session? I seriously doubt it, but thought I'd ask. Here's why: I have some
data that is unique per user (or per session - similar to "welcome back,
Jim" after Jim logs in) and consumed across multiple pages. This "per user"
data lives in a database, so toward improving runtime performance I want to
cache data supporting this and similar per user features. Because the...

Hi, all,
I have a question on the use of #include:
#include <unistd.h>
#include <asm/unistd.h>
#include "nn.h"
What are the differences between the above three usages?
It seems the third one allows the code to include the nn.h in the same
directory of the code;

I posted a few days ago that it seems to me that the Access 2007 rich text
feature does not support: a) full text justification; b) programmatic
manipulation.
I was hoping that someone might know one way or the other whether that was
true or not, or could point me to an article or help text that would. What I
have seen so far online and in Access 2007 help seems to confirm the above.
But that (or at least (b)) seems incredible that it...

Hi there
Im working on an assignment that has me store data in a buffer to be
sent over the network. I'm ignorant about how C++ stores data in an
array, and types in general.
If i declare an array of chars that is say 10 bytes long:
char buff;
does this mean that i can safely store 80 bits of data?

Introduction
In this article I will provide you an approach to manipulate an image file. This article gives you an insight into some tricks in java so that you can conceal sensitive information inside an image, hide your complete image as text ,search for a particular image inside a directory, minimize the size of the image. However this is not a new concept, there is a concept called Steganography which enables to conceal your secret...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...
