Hi,
I have 5 files open in Visual Studio .NET. When I try to close the
second file, Visual Studio closes too. When I reopen Visual Studio and
then try to close the second file, Visual studio again closes. I can
close the other files without any problems.
So what I wanted to do is find where Visual Studio saves which files
you have open in a certain project. This allows me to modify this
file/part of the registry/???, but I can't find...

I was checking out the 101 C# Samples, specifically Windows Forms - Use the Clipboard. I took a look at the code for a while, and I understand what the program is doing with the cut, copy, pasting via the file menu events using the clipboard. However, what I don't get is how is the program able to produce a context menu in the textbox area. When right clicking, the context pops up and allows to cut/copy/paste/delete, etc..
But the thing is, I...

1) How can I perform backward search in editor of Visual Studio .NET?
In VC++ 6.0 it was enough just to hold Shift button. This combination
doesn't work anymore in Visual Studio .NET?
2) Each time I build C++ project in Visual Studio .NET, the annoying window
"Task List - 1 Build Error task shown (filtered)". I don't like format of
this window and rather prefer to see error messages in Output window.
How can I configure Visual Studio...

Hi,
I have just installed Visual Studio.net 2003 Enterprise Architect.
I have been using Visual Interdev so far, and I am used to be able to select
from a desktop, drag bunch of .asp files, and drop them into a Project
Explorer window and have it show there as a tree of files. Is there some
setting that I need to enable in Visual Studio.Net to do the drag and drop
to Solution Explorer (which seems to be the equivalent of Project Explorer...

I don't agree on what concernes ASP .NET Web Sites in VS2005.
All what involves Namespaces in Web sites has been disappeared. I know
you can still MANUALLY manage them, but not QUICKLY and EASLY. In a

Hi everyone,
Although I do have some experience with Access I encounter a problem, which I could not solve yet.
All search on the net did not bring up any result either, so I hope that someone in here can help me out.
When using Access 2003 I can't use copy & paste shortcuts in the zoom window of any property dialog. The context menu does not show up either.
Can anyone tell me how tosolve this issue?
Thanks a lot in advance

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
