Uninstalling VS.NET 2003

Hi,

I'm trying to uninstall VS.NET 2003 and I get the error message 'Setup can't
determine the correct order...' and quits. Is there a way to solve this
problem.

Thanks,
Ivan

This article should help you. Follow the manual uninstall instructions.

Follow all the steps even if you get indications that a step failed.

Ones I install an assembly in the GAC, I'm unable to unstall it. This diables loading of debug symbols (pdb) of the assembly. This must be a well-known issue, but I didn't succeed in finding a description in the MS knowledge base. Does anybody know a solution to this symptom? An example follows. 1. uninstallation from GAC E:\>gacutil -nologo -u xAssignment_3S_4_0.Logger Assembly: xAssignment_3S_4_0.Logger, Version=1.1.0.0,...

I have a VB6 application that I have converted to Visual Basic .NET 2003 (don't know if this is relevant). I have recently added a setup project to my solution and successfully created and install application and installed it on my pc. When I then uninstalled it, I lost many of my references in the main project. Their...

Is there any way to install the IBM Distributed Debugger V9.2 on Windows XP without first uninstalling DB2? I installed the IBM Distributed Debugger V9.2 on my Windows XP box in the hopes of debugging a Java stored procedure. Well, I never got the debugger to work despite my best efforts - see posts earlier this week - so now I'd like to uninstall the debugger. I looked into this but the README says: 3.1 Uninstalling on Windows

However, when view the serivce console I still see my service there. What must be done to remove a windows service written in VB.Net from my system. I am developing a VB.Net application with VS 2005 that opens an Excel workbook and populates the worksheet with data. I started developing the application with Office 2007 installed on my Vista OS, but after I discovered that it won't run on a system with Office 2003, I uninstalled Office 2007 and installed Office 2003. I reset the reference in .Net to the Microsoft Excel 11.0 Object Library. The application works fine from the ..Net...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
