A place to learn about Setup Projets?

Hi,
I want to know if there is a place to learn about Setup Projects, because
I'm trying to make one but can't do the things I want to do, like add a
registry key or allow the user to select/unselect optional parts.

Can somebody help please or supply a link to a place where I could find the
ansers or just learn how to make these projects?

Thanks

Hi,
How are you doing?

To create a new deployment project
1.. On the File menu, point to Add Project, and then click New Project.
2.. In the resulting Add New Project dialog box, select the Setup and
Deployment Projects folder.
3.. Choose the type of deployment project you want to create. For details,
see Deployment Projects.
To add an existing deployment project to a solution

1.. On the File menu, point to Add Project, and then click Existing
Project.
2.. In the resulting Add Existing Project dialog box, browse to the
location of the deployment project and click Open.
Tip To see only deployment projects, select Setup and Deployment Projects
in the Files of type box..

Hi, I read that ASP.NET uses VB.NET instead of VBScript. I also read that ASP.NET is a subset of VB.NET. So if I learn VB.NET first then do I have the knowledge for programming ASP.NET applications or do I need to learn both VB.NET and ASP.NET. Thank you. TAM

I'm completely new to this, but trying to compile some code I've been given which uses the python Distutils stuff. I need to pass some compiler directives to gcc, and the documentation suggests that the parameteres 'extra_compile_args' can be used. However, this does so AFTER the rest of the arguments, including the -o output name and the...

Don't know if those of you who answer the questions are paid or not - but much thanks for your help! It's well appreciated. It seems that the more I read about ACCESS online and in books, the more I realize it's way more effecient to learn VBA. So, any ideas/recommendations where to start? Free online sources? Good books? Thanks!

It appears that apps distributed as Python Eggs are either a single compressed blob in site-packages directory or a directory under site-packages directory. Is this ALWAYS true? So by just erasing stuff under site-packages I can do a COMPLETE uninstallation of an Egg? Chris
