Attempting to install MS Project 2003 under WinXP,
install gets to approx 95% then gets this error and rolls
back the install
Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of
assembly component {53EB5CFB-3DAF-4890-ABCD
4895D28EAAAF}. HRESULT: -214702486
Looking at the error log it appears like something to do
with msi is "in use" but I can't determine what. The

Running XP PRO, windows update, identifies the need to install Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1, but installation fails.
Looked on TECHNET and found Microsoft >NET Framework 1.1 redistributable, and copied to my hard drive, and ran install and got the following:
Error 1935. An error occured during the installation of assembly component
{7D4B5591-4C80-42BB-B0E5-F2C0CEE02C1A}. HRESULT:-2147319761.

I've been searching for a solution for over two days, but have found no
solution.
I've installed everything in Studio .Net 2002 except for a development
language. When I try to install C#, I get the error:
Error 1937. An error occurred during the installation of assembly... The
signature or catalog could not be verified or is not valid. HRESULT:
0x80131045

WhenI try to load .net ver 1.1 I get the error 1935. I tried rebotting and I
also tried turning off windows installer. neither solution worked I stil get
error 1935 when trying to set up .net ver 1.1. My O/S is home XP and I do
have service pack 2 and all updates. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello all,
I have windows app which accesses a webservice for retrieving data from
a DB.
The database connections etc are all fine.
The following is the exception I get when I try to access a table.
Any idea what this means ?
Webservice returns 'object' and on the app side I cast it to a type
defined in the app.

Hi,
I'm having problems installing the 2003 enterprise developer update cd,
error messages 1935 or 2908 show after less than a couple of minutes. This is
very frustrating, has anybody got any advice? All suggestions are welcome,
