Hi,
I just installed Visual Studio .NET 2003 (Enterprise Developer) on my
PC. My PC is a Windows 2000 SP3. But after a successful install, i
cannot start my visual .net application. Everytime is try to start
it, my PC crashes, and i get a blue screen (memory dump etc..) error
messsage. I was wondering if anybody ever had this problem, and if you

One of my development PC's died, and I need to have legacy VS and VS.Net
installed at the same time. On the now dead PC, I had VS6 installed prior to
installing VS.Net. This worked just fine.
On my working PC, I already have VS.Net installed, but not VS6.
My question, will installing the older VS6 with VS.Net already installed
give me problems with VS.Net. Or should I first remove the VS.Net, install
VS6, then re-install VS.Net?

Hi,
I am trying to install Visual Studio .Net 2003 (Academic Edition) on my PC
with a 64 bit AMD processor.
This is what happens:
1. The install process installs the prerequisites -> ok
2. The install process starts copying approx. 90 files to harddisk -> ok
3. The install process starts install scripts. At about 2/3 of the scripting
process the machine simply REBOOTS!!!

Help me please, I'm totally stuck!
My Visual Studio 2003 debugger stopped working after I installed
Windows XP Service Pack 2. Here is what happens (with any project,
even a "Hello, world" message): the first time I open a project and
try to start it in debug mode, Visual Studio hangs before executing
the first line of code. The only way to stop it is to kill the process

Hi,
I was trying to install XP on my HP laptop having the Vista Home Premium 64 bit preinstalled. I found out the steps that I need to take through google but my pains don't seem to end there.
When I tried booting the laptop with XP bootable CD, it gave me following shocking error:
"There is no hard disk drive installed on your computer. Setup cannot proceed."
ie XP could not detect the hard disk even though it is there and vista...
