I have a partitioned view sitting over several tables and I'm slowly
approaching the 256 number. Can anybody confirm if there is such a
limit for the maximum number of tables that a partitioned view can
hold?
If this is true, does anybody have any suggestions or ideas to work
around this max limit?

Hi Folks,
I have a problem while creating a big table space. It reports error:
SQL1139N The total size of the table space is too big
Explanation: The size of the current table space is too big. The size of a REGULAR table space is limited to 0xFFFFFF (16777215) pages while the size of a TEMPORARY/LONG table space is limited to 2 tera bytes (2 TB).
User Response: Check the diagnostic log file db2diag.log for details. Reduce the size...

Hi,
I was wondering how the 4k table record limit is counted. I have access
2k. I text fields are 256 chars. Memo fields are not included in the
calculation. What about yes/no fields would that be just 1 char? also
integers they are probably not included either?
I just need to make sure none of my tables exceeds the limit.

Does anyone know what the upper limit is to the number of rows you can
dynamically add to an HTML table, using Javascript? I tried to make a
table consisting of over 74,000 rows and Firefox stops rendering the
page. I didn't notice any exceptions being thrown or any other
external indicator that something is wrong, other than the page not
being rendered all the way.
If you happen to know if there is a number to this I should be aware...

We're running DB2 v8.1 on a windows platform and have a database that
is quite large. It basically contains one table with a BLOB field
(each blob is a zip file, maybe 500K to 1MB), and this particular
table is close to 300GB in size. We are not experiencing any
problems, and there is plenty of space on the server, but I was just
wondering if there is limit in DB2 to how big this table can get.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
