Hi all,
I get following output from "mysqlbinlog mylog-bin-file.001":
# at 4
#030818 13:38:00 server id 1 Start: binlog v 4, server v created
700101 1:00:00
The file mylog-bin-file.001 contains many queries but they don't appear
in the output from mysqlbinlog.

Hi MySQL Fans ;-),
This time I am using 4.0.13-max (tar format from www.mysql.com) on Redhat 9.
When I issue the command mysqlbinlog it does not show me the whole
binary logfile but just the first line or so (below).
mysqlbinlog baby-bumble-bee-bin.000009

I have a problem with MYSQLBINLOG.EXE: result file doesn't contain log
such as CREATE TABLE and DROP, even if bin files contains it correctly.
This is a problem because I use bin result file to manage update of my
(test) application, and when I create an Index, or modify a table,
exporting bin log files I can manage it simply.
But, and I don't know what is changed, results file contain only data
change, and nothing about table change...

I decide to seperate my data collection routine from my data analysis
and storage program to a seperate process, so I try to use the new
subprocess model in Python 2.4.
The main program spawns the subprocess and receives data from the
pipe. When some event occurs (e.g. the user clicks the 'Stop' button
on GUI), the main program will send the subprocess a command to change
its behavior or ask it to exit.
