Number of pages in a browser's session history

Hi guys,
is there a way (using javascript) to determine the number of pages in a
browser's session history?
I knew that Internet Explorer 6.0 and Mozilla Firefox differ in their
definitions for this value, is it right?

Thanks! ;)

Track it on the server. In the client? No.

It doesn't matter as you can't find out from the client side.

Hi Lukketto,

Type this in the browser's address bar:

javascript:alert(history.length)
and you wll get the answer in a popup alert.
