We have an application which is a Java/JSP security wrapper to
control access to the contents of the external corporate training Web site
(courses).
It is a Java/JSP/Struts application which was originally

To embed flash objects in my pages, I read them from a database.
A script file (Filedownload.aspx) reads it from the database, and
streams it to the browser.
Here are two example flash objects in a page. The first 1 (a simple
link to an existing swf-file on the webserver) is showing in each
browser (IE & FF), while the other one (using the filedownload page) is
only being shown in FF.
Does it have something to do with file-extension?

Hi All!
Trying to get a drop down hide/show div on a html page triggered by a button in flash.
(Intro: Very very Little experience in dynamic flash)
setup: html page, flash map on page, button on flash opens info underneath map in a separate div. div that has hide/show content is called "operator"

What I have now is a static banner that loads as an background-image via css stylesheet but I put on top of that a flash banner so it would load the static banner and the flash will fade in.
The problem is is that that flash banner is a part of the html so when I change stylesheets the flash banner stays. Is there a way to make a javascript to do such a thing?
Just noting here that I've never coded javascript.
