Hello all,
I have to access a website which does a stupid browser check and only
accepts Netscape 4.7. The problem is that I have to access the website with
Mozilla or Internet Explorer.
Query:
if ((browserType.indexOf("etscape") != -1) && (browserVersion.indexOf("4.7")
!= -1))

Hi,
I have an iframe src which is a dhtml <div> which includes a
javascript function, what I want to do is appendchild the <div id=xxx>
to the parent webpage, I am able to import and append the image to the
parent page. However the script function does not seem to get
recognized via the browser.
E.g when I go mouseover on the image in the parent page it throws the
error "object expected".

First of all let me clarify - I am not talking about having a bunch of
images loaded all at once (or preloaded) and then controlling the
display of the images after that point -- I know that can be done. I

I was told that the only way to do this was to dynamically write the
html code via javascript and put time delays inbetween the dynamic
creation of that html

Hello Everyone,
I just purchased Visual Studio .Net Architect 2003 and want to know what's a
good book for begginers to start with. I know nothing about programming
whatsoever, but I do have a desire to learn- as obvious with this purchase.
So please let me know where I can start and thanks. Also, what newsgroup
should I post my queries to?

Hello,
I was VERY blessed with a Christmas gift of visual studio .net from a
man I hardly know who had heard of my plans of software developement.
So I am probably the only person in the world who actualy has this

I have some prior exposure to simple scripting language such as
javascript and I understand data types etc. (basic programming
concepts and procedures) but I don't have any...

Bonjour,

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
