Check out PrimalScript from Sapien. http://www.sapien.com/

Even though I use PrimalScript for most scripting chores, I would be remiss by
not mentioning VEdit (that I have used for maybe 15 years) as the best general
purpose editor on the planet.

Written mostly in assembler, other editors don't even come close to its
extensive capabilities.

HTMLKit -- Free (you can pay for a blaotware edition if you want, I
never found the need). http://www.htmlkit.com/

PS-Pad -- Free. http://www.pspad.com/

Both have built in ftp modules which makes dealing with files on the
server a snap.

Hi, I want to do some Web development using HTML, Javascript, PHP and MySQL. Does anybody recommend any good editors to use in this Web development. Something that works well and makes development faster and easier but doesn't take away the power of writing code? Nick

Is there a good editor that can be used with a 32 bit compiler under the MS-Dos platform? I used to use the Watcom C++ 11 compiler but the editor that came with it (VI if I remeber) was not that great, in fact it was horrible. I'm searching for a Borland C++ style editor and a good C++ 32 bit compiler. Doesn't really matter if the compiler doesn't optimize the code. Thanx in advance... Lovens

If anyone out here knows of a really good editor I would be...

Can anyone suggest me a good editor for tracing code? I got a software with about 400,000 lines of source code in C/C++ with a complicate structure. It mess me up pretty soon whenever I try to trace for some relationship between this function and another by using vi or emacs. I guess that I need your suggestion for a better one. I use solaris, but with a window for MS Window2000 hardwired in my Sun box. So either system would be fine,...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
