Multiple 5-star rating systems on one page - accept and remember user ratings

17 New Member
Hi every body

I wanna find someone in here who'd create me a 5-star rating system for my website using Javascript. The script should accept the rating a user made and place a cookie on the computer to remember what rating the user made. More than 10 of them should work on one page as well! Please help me.

PS: Only use javascript and html of course.

A rating system using just cookies is useless, so I'm guessing this is an academic exercise.
If not then SmartStars provides multiple ratings and although not intended for use with cookies, is easy to interface with cookie functions.

You can't expect someone to just write it for you. You could ask if someone knows of a good script. How much have you tried yourself, including looking for one?

hi ...

first of all ... you are welcome here and welcome to post questions in the forum ... but please take note of the following points:

your original question didn't show anything that could be understood in a way that you made any effort to solve the problem for yourself nor that you searched something ... it just stated that you want someone to code for you ... and the policy of this forum states that we don't provide full-solutions without knowing! that the OP would have made an attempt for his/her own that is shown here. having posted that you searched and found solutions that didn't satisfy your needs and showing what you have done so far would have avoided that misunderstandin g ...

so i would suggest that you simply post a note on what you have done so far before asking a question that sounds like: 'give me the solution' ...

kind regards
gits

Hi, I have a form with a select element with multiple="true". When using the GET method (I suppose the same happens with the POST method) I can seen that the form sends channels=CH1&channels=CH2 when CH1 and CH2 have been choosen. $_GET gives me "CH2". Is there any way to get all the choosen channels elements? I would be very appreciative...

Hi Guys, We know that we can use <input type=file ...> to upload one file per time to the server. My question is if there are some way to upload multiple files per time to the server. It seems no pattern defined by GoF takes advantage of multiple inheritance. I am wondering if there is a situation where multiple inheritance is a necessary solution. When coding in C++, should multiple inheritance still be avoided? If yes, why multiple inheritance is introducted into C++?

I want to know why C# doesnt support multiple inheritance? But why we can inherit multiple interfaces instead? I know this is the rule, but I dont understand why. Can anyone give me some concrete examples?

This might be slightly off-topic. Many books on C++ consider multiple inheritence as an "advanced" concept. Bruce Eckel says in TICPP, volume 2 that "there was (and still is) a lot of disagreement about whether is essential in C++". Are there any disadvantages of using multiple inheritence?

why doesn't .NET support multiple inheritance? I think it's so silly! Cheers, Mark

While developing an internal IE6-only webapp, a discussion started about the 'best' way to apply classes to data tables across multiple pages. The two arguments were: 1. Apply a single class to each table. That class (possibly in combination with other classes on child elements) controls every part of the table - layout, colors, fonts, etc....

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...
