Hi all,
Is it possible to do an ie print from javascript that does not bring
up the print dialog? I'm in a situation where i need to load a
sequence of files into a browser and print all of them without any
user interaction.
Thanks!

Apologies...I'm sure this has been asked before, but I can't seem to
come up with the correct Google search terms.
While my problem is with stylesheets, the errors are being caused by
my javascript, so this seemed a more appropriate place to post.
I'm using a media=print style sheet to do a version of a web page that
I am building. Currently, I'm working on the IE version.
I have an HTML page and 2 style sheets which all validate...

I know that names and descriptions in sitemap files can be localized
using resource files. But I think that's not enough for me. I need to
add and remove some menus depending on the language, for example:
When the display language is English, there should be "Home",
"Japanese lecture", ... "Contact", and when Japanese, there should be
"ホーム(home)", "英語講座(English lecture)"..."お問い合わせ(contact)".
The urls for home and...

Seasons Greetings Everyone!
I want to use JavaScript's event object to detect whether someone has
pressed the 'PrintScreen' key to screenshot, via the Windows Clipboard,
and to print website content I don't want printed...
It occurred to me that the easiest way to do this is to erase or replace
the contents of the Windows Clipboard...
Some code snippets I found at webdeveloper.com forums:

Hi,
I'm writing an ASP application that can display PDF files in a frame.
The user can save or download the PDF, but I need to know when they do this so I can add an activity record to my database.
My first thought was to disable the PDF tool bar and allow saving and printing from buttons that I CREATE. This would allow me to trap the action. I was able to do this for saving using the LoadFromFile method in ASP.
However, printing has...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
