There are two options I can think of for concatenating the html pages. The
first, which I would not suggest, is frames. The second would be to write an
ASP.NET page that reads the html files as text files and combines them. As
far as printing, that is not really an ASP.NET issue, but a javascript
issue. Unless you are planning on using something like Java or ActiveX
(which it doesn't sound like you are), the only way I know of to print would
be the javascript window.print() method. Hopefully this helps.

Hi all Can anyone tell me the best way to set permissions to allow an ASP program to write new Html pages to my site's root folder, without chancing users also being able to write to the root. One ISP told me this couldn't be done - is IIS really that limited? I want to be able to suggest to my ISP (based on any advice you can give) how they should set the permissions to allow a sensible folder structure -

Hi all, I'm about to embark on a new project and can't decide quite how to do it. In summary, I have a database whose data I want to use to create html pages for a website. The website will just be a series of static html pages. I will keep all the data locally and would generate the required pages and upload them whenever I needed to. I do not want to have the database anywhere but on my lcoal machine. My questions are:

I've built a website using CSS, and am relatively new to the art. The lady I'm making it for noticed that a long page of text doesn't print properly (why print web pages?????) and I figured it had something to do with CSS as I'm new to it. Here's the page: http://www.campbellparkes.co.uk/training-and-development.htm Looking at the print preview it only shows 2 and a bit pages when there should be 3 or 4 PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi, The problem with using HTML as a report writer is primarily the unreliable page breaking. However it is a rather handy way of writing reports with images embedded. I could generate say 10 HTML pages of a maximum length to fit a page - page1.htm, page2.htm, page3.htm ...etc.

Hi, We are in the process of launching a new asp.net site for our client, the old site was pure html. In order to preserve the search engine rankings of the html pages, I am trying to implement 301 redirects for the individual html pages by adding the redirect code (it has to be done on a page by page basis) in the Session_Start event. The steps that I took for implementing this are: a) In IIS, I added .htm and .html to the...

Hello everybody! I have two separate reports, each contains several subreports. Once in a while it is necessary to print certain pages from both reports for different users. I was wandering if there is a way to build a procedure that would ask first what pages from each report to print on one click. The challenge is that sometimes the pages change - i.e. if there is too much information, what usually was on a first page moves to a second and so...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
