Hi,
I need help with only displaying a set of answers / feedback on the following site:
I use Javascript to to the calculations and just pass the value through using hidden fields to the results page, this question will make more sense if I show you the pages I am working on:
http://golfperformance academy.com/handicap/technical.php
if you go through the set of questions, that being Technical, Fitness, Nutrition and Psychology you get to a results page:
http://golfperformance academy.com/handicap/results.php
here I need to only show the DIV tags that are relevant to the user, so if that scored 5 points in the Technical section then only the "Strategies your Technical handicap" 5-8 Handicap would be shown, all the other DIVs for Technical would not be visible to the user.
If I scored 20 points on the Fitness questions I would only see the 19-25 Handicap text under the heading of Golf Fitness Handicap.
This process has to then be repeated for all the other sections: Nutrition and Psychology,
Any pointers or advice will be great.

Set all the divs to be hidden (set style.display to "none" using CSS).
The score will be available in a variable I assume.
Based on that, you can check which div to display by using if statements. To display, use div.style.displ ay = 'block'.

I wrote a script to show or hide items in an HTML list (<ul
id="stuff">) depending on whether a list-item's CLASS
attribute matches an input string (catString), which is
chosen from a SELECT menu.
Can anyone suggest any improvements to this (below)? I'm
a JS beginner.
It seems to work Camino/Firefox and Mac Explorer-5, but not
in Safari. I haven't been able to test it in

I put this together from some other scripts I am using on a site. I'm
trying to make a better email hiding script. It isn't working. Also, it
causes Internet Explorer 6 SP2 to block the script as "active content". :(
The idea is that if the user doesn't have JavaScript enabled, they will see
an image of the email address (that can't be read by email harvesting
programs). If JavaScript is enabled, the image will be hidden and the...

I was thinking about developing a workflow application yesterday and was
musing over the different approaches than one could take in restricting
specific actions on a ticket( Form ) at any said stage.
One approach I have used on other systems is to prevent the action buttons
appearing. For example, if one did not have the Role of Administrator, one
would be prevented from deleting a ticket not created by oneself.
However, it did occur...

I can display and hide 1 object at a time, but haven't seen it done on
multiple objects simultaneously. I have four (or more) tables on a

If I click button #1, table #1 should toggle visibility and all other
tables should remain hidden. If table #1 is visible and I click button

Hi
I was using a schroll bar to display multiple rows of dynamically created from database records.
The scrolling was not displaying the data properly so I have decided to use pagination.
The problem I am having is,
if I select one item on page #1 and another on page #5
only the last item selected on page #5 is stored in the array.
How can I store selections from multiple pages into one array?

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
