13 New Member
Hi,

I am using update panel of asp.net 2.0 ajax to implement ajax.

I have structure like this
(.aspx file)

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. <update panel id=_updatelpanel>
  2. <contenttemplate>
  3. <table1>
  4. </table1>
  5. <table2>
  6. </tabel2>
  7. </contenttemplate>
  8. </updatepanel>
  9. <table3>
  10. </table3>

But the content of table3 is not coming on webpage when updating the page using table1 or table2.. why this is happening..

Plz help me.

Where's your code? This may well be an ASP.NET problem.

I installed the new RTM version of ASP.NET 2.0 AJAX Extensions 1.0 released on Tuesday (1/23). I made the required changes to the web.config file to go from the RC version to the RTM version. Now, what once did partial, async. postbacks correctly in my app are now regular postbacks - page refresh and everything. I even started from scratch with a simple sample (script mgr., update panel, grid view), and that also does full postbacks. ...

Hi, I have a web page and at the end of the page I have inserted some javascript that checks if Acrobat Reader plugin is installed. If it is not installed, I disable some elements (buttons, checkboxes, ...) on the page. This javascript is at the end of the page, because javascript cannot identify html elements if they are defined below the script. Some of the elements that I disable when the plugin is not installed

I am currently working on an ASP.Net Querying application which uses a menu control with all the links going to the same page. Before I implemented AJAX on this page the end user was able to browse through the application using the back and forward buttons on the browser toolbar as each full post back added an entry to the browsers history. Since the AJAX components (ScriptManager/UpdatePanel) have been implemented in the page every time...

Hello, I have a aspx page with ajax scriptmanger update panel etc. I also have public string variables on the aspx page. Whenever postback happens from Ajax update panel, at server side all the public string variables are reset to empty string. As if fresh page is loaded. How to preserve the page level variables during Ajax postback?

i have been trying (and sometimes succeeding) to use the modalpopupextender to show various panels of controls on my asp pages. the strange problem that i keep on running into is that sometimes it works, displaying an awesome popup, while other times, it doesn't show a popup at all, but rather just page posts back and the panel becomes visible at the bottom of the page (where it is situated in the designer). what is even stranger to me is that...

I am trying to figure out how to do a postback that updates only changed controls without having the entire page refresh and flash on the screen. Seems to me this was available in ASP.NET 1.1, but I can't remember how it was done (I did it in another project but can't remember how). I do not want to use Ajax. I tried a search but got so many hits related to Ajax that I gave up. Thanks

If I create a folder in outlook and give it a homepage url to an ajax asp.net page I've developed, I get ajax errors on my page when viewed in outlook. If I click on a button in an update panel I will get an Internet Explorer Script Error "Access is denied." If I clicke Yes to continue running scripts, and click the button in the update panel again I'll get an error "Sys.InvalidOperationException: Cannon abort when executor has not...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
