Hey Folks,
I'm having a heck of a time wrapping mind around AJAX.
Anyone know of a simple, straight-forward example for pulling a simple
query from mysql with PHP using AJAX?
As I understand it I need a PHP script that pulls the query and dumps the
data into XML format, that is called by triggering a javascript event that
reads that...

I am trying to use some very basic AJAX functionality (update panel
for partial page update) on my website. When I run my webpage in VS
2005, the partial page update works fine. However, when I upload the
page to my website and try running it, the page updates as a full page
update rather than a partial page update. I believe the web.config...

I'd like to have an AJAX textbox that after the user fills in, will
auto-fill another textbox on the page without having a postback
occur. It doesn't have to do any filtering or any other thing like
that. I'm fairly experienced with ASP.Net, but new to AJAX. Please
help if you can. Thanx.

I am trying to figure out how to do a postback that updates only changed
controls without having the entire page refresh and flash on the screen.
Seems to me this was available in ASP.NET 1.1, but I can't remember how it
was done (I did it in another project but can't remember how).
I do not want to use Ajax.
I tried a search but got so...

I have a problem with a current project and the scroll position.
I have an AJAX enabled website using Visual Studio 2005 and ASP.Net 2.0.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...
