firebug javascript debugging

I just downloaded firebug and watched a video, how to debug
javascript, but it doesn't work for me. If I set a breakpoint, it
won't stop there, even if I reload the page.

Have you tried the Firebug Google group?

I first tried to debug with aptana, and that didn't work either. (It
started firefox, and froze with the initpage.) And that hadn't a
google group.

With FireFox, I've a ton of debuggers for Javascript. I use FireBug a lot. What do I do for IE? I've got images that won't appear on this page in IE (when you click the "next" link): http://www.marthaambrose.com/arDrawings/ Is there software that people use to test IE? What is the best way to trouble shoot IE?

FireBug is without doubt a great utility for debugging JS, however with FireBug enabled my little AJAX scripts won't work properly. E.g. http://ajax.gregorkofler.at/index.php?page=tableedit In the status bar I count the calls of the response function, which should happen once on "edit" and once on "ok". Works perfectly ok on IE, Opera, FF with FireBug's network monitoring disabled. However with enabled network monitoring FB adds extra...

Hello - I posted this in the Firebug Group (http://groups.google.com/ group/firebug), too: I created a small PHP script that sends all PHP debugging messages to the Firebug console. So your window is not messed up with debugging messages and you make full use of Firebug features. You can set mode to 'html', too, then an absolute positioned box is populated with your messages. I think this could be useful for every PHP-developer, who...

A script I've implemented is doing this annoying thing where it works in mozilla only if you have Firebug installed. I was all excited to find someone had solved what sounded like the same problem, as outlined in <a href = "http://lukav.com/wordpress/2007/04/12/firefox-firebug-and-synchronos-calls-problem/#comment-750">this article</abut unfortunately, it turns out that I am not using sync XMR.open, but rather async. ALSO, the related...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
