pull out data by pressing tab

Is it possible to pull out data by key in one field value and query out the
rest data from the table and show out in the form by just pressing a tab
key?

Eg, by entering customer ID and press tab, customer information will be
query out and showed in the textfield.

I don't know, there's a lot of material on the internet, but you just
need to know how the "XHR" object work <URL:>

Try the links bellow, I didn't read, but they seem to be easy to understand.
