dynamically add new rows and save data typed in these rows to a database

Hello,

For a project I'd like a user to be able to add a new row to an existing row
(one row has four columns) at runtime by pressing "TAB" when he reaches the
end of the row. The data typed in the new rows created in this way should be
sent to a database by pressing a submit button. Can this be done with a
datagrid (in combination with javascript for the key pressing?) and if it
can, how should it be done? If not, are there other ways to achieve this?
Thank you in advance for responding!

Regards, Arjen

I am developing a Windows Forms application in VB.NET that will use .NET remoting to access the data tier classes. A very simple way I have come up with is by creating typed (.xsd) datasets. For example dsParts.xsd and including that in the data tier. I then will create a class that looks like this Public Class CPart Inherits dsParts

In my ASP.NET application I have a button that when pressed, data needs to be saved based on what the user typed in. I have other controls on the same page that should be updated as a result of the save, which are all dynamically created in the code behind and have event handlers registered. In the page life cycle, event handlers are called after the page is loaded. The problem is, the save is done after the controls are loaded, so the...

Dear ASP.NET Programmers, I have a HTML table (running as server control with the control ID: tblInsertSP). The table has 16 rows with textboxes. Depending on the value of the ddlSPType, which is a dropdownlist control on the page, I add dynamically extra rows to the table. For instance, if the ddlSPType selected item is Aviation Company, an extra row containing a cell with the textbox control txtAircrafts is added to the HTML table...

I have a problem that I am desperate to understand. It involves dynamically adding controls to a Table control that is built as a result of performing a database query. I am not looking to avoid the problem by avoiding the table control or resorting to databound controls that better manage state for me. I hope to understand how to solve the problem by using the Table web control and sticking to the approach of building the table at run...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
