Showing a powerpoint presentation in the browser window

Hi
I want to open a simple powerpoint sheet in the browser window. What is

the best way to do that?
I have searched in this group and saw different people telling that the

pluginn for powerpoint must be placed on the page as well.
Can someone help me out?
Regards

It's embedded in the page just like you'd any other embedded object which
uses a plugin or external libs, using the OBJECT element, search in google
on "embedding" +"powerpoint*pr esentation" +"webpage", each object has
their own <param> and their own MIME type, so, and yes, the client machine
HAS to have the powerpoint plugin for it to be render at all, having the
powerpoint plugin means having MSoffice installed, as it only comes with
MSoffice, so, the user has to have msoffice installed with the plugin for
powerpoint.

Hi there, I am currently working on a project to display powerpoint presentations inside a .NET application. As I understand there is no such thing as a ole control which can embed powerpoint files. After searching the web I found a usable way by using a web browser control to display powerpoint documents. However, this only works if powerpoint is also installed. I tried it with the freely available powerpoint viewer, but with this...

Hello, I have the following problem and I do not know how to accomplish this. I have an (existing) powerpoint presentation that should be displayed not within its own window, but within a control of my own form. So I added a reference to the Microsoft PowerPoint Object Library and tried to run a slideshow of the presentation. For this I am using those classes like PowerPoint.Application, PowerPoint.Presentation, PowerPoint.Slides, ......

I’m using a vb.net app that opens a powerpoint presentation and calls the updatelinks function of powerpoint. One slide in the presentation is linked to a cell range in an excel file, and the excel file has links to other excel files within it. When my program reaches this slide, it opens the powerpoint slide, then opens the excel file, then it prompts the user to select whether or not they want to update the links within excel. ...

Hi everyone, I'm wanting to use VB.NET to display a powerpoint presentation, much the same way as the presenter that comes with PowerPoint (when used on multiple monitors). Basically, I want to show the presentation in one form/window, and in the other, have controls for moving through the presentation, list of slides, etc. I don't really want code as such, more like a tutorial on how to do something like this.

Converting PowerPoint to Flash would absolutely be a good choice to distribute your bulky PowerPoint presentations. You can do the whole PowerPoint to Flash conversion manually or with professional applications. First, you'll need to prepare the PowerPoint files. Make sure you are not using any complicated gradients or animations. These will be interpreted poorly when they are brought into Flash. Also, make sure there are no objects that...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
