i have a powerpoint presentation that uses links to other files and are put on the slide using OLE.
The problem is that I have different users updating the information on the slides, which is not being reflected on the main slide.
At any rate, I'd like to write an external VB app that can be scheduled to run, update the links within the program, resave the powerpoint pres, and then reopen it on the computer.

I've linked an excel worksheet as an access table. The values appear
but it won't allow me to change any of the values.
To test I've provided a fresh blank workbook and same problem.
I've done this on other computers and it's worked fine.

Hi,
I'm trying to use VBA to extract underlying data from charts in powerpoint to excel, i.e from the underlying powerpoint datasheet that feeds the chart.
I've found the macro below on the net. It copies the data in each chart/datasheet and slide in powerpoint but I'm struggling with the bit to get the data into excel.
Below it I've tried incoporating some code to paste into excel but it does not seem to work.
