Where to find API doc for packages sun.* accessible from JavaScript?

According to an online manual:
http://www.croczilla.com/~alex/refer...s.html#1193137
all the Java API packages in java.* and sun.* are available from
JavaScript. There's fine online documentation for java.*, but I can't
find any documentation for sun.* Does anybody know where to find such?

Also just for Java, where's API documentation for com.sun.media.s ound.*
etc. which BeanShell's class browser shows me are also in J2SE's rt.jar?

These are *not* documented.

Well I am now on page 84 of Bruce Eckel's "Thinking in Java". (... having made significant progress since the help you guys gave me in response to my last question about page 34.) Here he presents a simple program which uses two classes, System and Runtime. And he suggests using packages.html to find those two classes. He says "If you look at the packages.html file, you'll see a list of all the different class libraries that come with...

Hello, I'm a complete newbie in learning python. I was testing some sample codes I found in this newsgroup and seems it could not locate the module ctypes.py. I installed python 2.4, wxPython and pywin32. Just could not find this file. I thought it should be in Lib/site-packages/ directory but it is not there. Where can I find this file?

I have a book which had code that includes the line: require 'DB.php'; I know that this is from the PEAR code modules, but when I downloaded them and unpacked the directory, they "DB.php" module does not exist. Is this out of date or do I need to go somewhere else to get this extra module? Thanks

I am trying to tell Python where it can find some modules it will need when embedded in my app. The convenient way would be to plop a .pth file somewhere Python can find it. I found that the doc is wrong when it says this kind of filecan go anywhere on the python path. It is not found if it goes into the python root dir, or python\lib -- the only place I found it would work was in lib\site-packages. So the next question is, how do I...

I tried to call pydoc from my Linux box. To my realization that it doesn't contain pydoc. I thought this module should be a default module. Can anybody suggest where can I find the module? I tried: $ easy_install pydoc

I have a collection of packages and I want to put them under single unifying name. my goal is to reduce namespace pollution and make all these packages accessible as 'import vvv.aaa'. In more detail, if I have packages 'aaa' and 'bbb', what do I do to put those packages under unifying name such as 'vvv'? the only way I can see to do it is to create 'vvv' as a directory with its own __init__.py but I'm not sure that were work right either....

Hi all, I recently updated os x from python 2.4 to 2.5 (from python.org) and in doing so I lost my old python path entries. Python 2.4 was installed using fink. Now when I do: import sys print sys.path my old site-packages directory is not within it (the 2.4 one).

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
