Hi all,
I want to do following.
In the background should play a midi file. That's not the problem but when
the midi file is played another one should start automatically. During
playing the first midi file the second should be downloaded and so on.
What I don't know is when the midi file is played and when I should start
the next midi file.

Our client insists on having a music loop playing as the visitor travels
throughout his new HTML website.
We will not be doing this in frames and I would prefer not to have the home
page spawn new pages from its links. Although that's the only solution that
I know of.
Does anyone have another solution?

Hi peeps
Just after a bit of theory and pointers really.
I need to develop a music downloading system, with digital rights management
etc (so users cant copy tracks). The majority of systems seem to use Windows
Media and WMA files to acheive the security side, but I have no idea how to
implement DRM, windows media, or what I'd need to add to my server, etc etc.
Any help / information / pointers to information would be useful, as would

Hi all.
With iTunes 7 (Windows XP), if repeat is selected and a music video is next in the same playlist, the current song finishes but does not switch to the next one automatically... it just sits on 'play' with 0 seconds remaining. Manually pressing play works fine.
Have tried to get around this using setTimeout, but having NO experience in JScript means getting this ready in time has been a pain in the rump.
Have been trying to get it to...

Hello all,
I'm developing a site in PHP4 for a music artist, who wants music to
play across all their pages. I have loaded a simple flash applet to
play the music, but every time the visitor to the site moves to a
different page the music starts again. The artist would like the music
to play continuously.
I can only think of three possible ways to solve this, and I am not
happy with any of them.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
