Hi guys
I'm having a hard time trying to validate some dates.
I have a form that accept dates from users in this format (YYYY-mm-dd).
I've been looking at the available datetime functions and I'm still
clueless as to how they can help me achieve my goals.
what I need to do id check is:
1- convert the input string into date first. At this point I couldn't
find any srtTOdate type of functions. then I tried doing it the hard

Is there a way to figure out from a given date the 'week of the year' or
'quarter of the year' that it exists in?
I need to manage report generation that are required to be done
automitically on a Weekly, Monthly or Quarterly basis using the last run date
and a Weekly, Monthly or Quarterly indicator.

Would any of you kind souls now how to put into an unbound text box
the week commencing date for the current week which you are in, so
that the report heading would say something like for example, orders
registered to date this "week commencing"--then the text box.Using
Monday as the first day of the week.

I am having problems setting the HttpWebRequest Date header. I understand
that it is a restricted header and I do receive the
"This header must be modified with the appropriate property." Is there a
way to make sure that the date header is sent over or a way to work around
