Week commencing date in report

Would any of you kind souls now how to put into an unbound text box
the week commencing date for the current week which you are in, so
that the report heading would say something like for example, orders
registered to date this "week commencing"--then the text box.Using
Monday as the first day of the week.
Many Thanks

You can calculate the starting day of the week using the dateadd
and weekday functions. first find the date's day of the week and
then substract that number from the date

Thanks Bob

But how would i get this to run automatically so that each time the
report is run the week commencing date is calculated automatically.
Would your suggestion mean it would have to be manually calculated
each time. An example would be appreciated.

Many Thanks
David

Hi, A week ago I had a question how to get MS Query to return a standard date to a "YEAR-MONTH" (YYYY-MM) format. I received a great answer from Jerry Boone!!! It follows: SELECT convert(varchar(4),year(INVENTTRANS.DATEFINANCIAL)) + '-' + convert(varchar(2),month(INVENTTRANS.DATEFINANCIAL)) AS 'dfDate'

I have two problems, actually. I am looking to see if there is a function that will return the day of the week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, etc...) from a date. For instance 2/27/04 is a Friday. Also is there a way to group dates by week? I have a user who wants a report to group by week. I know I could create a table and assign dates to a week, but I'm wondering if anyone has anything out there already done that may be a little bit...

Hi All, I'm building some reports in Acc97 and using a custom calendar form to allow users to pick dates with which to report. I'm wondering if there's an easy way in code to be able to automatically work out the end-of-week date and end-of-month date from an arbitrary date value? To explain a little further. Let's say a user wants to view a weekly

My employer tracks productivity/performance of clinicians (how much they bill) each week, its averages for the month, and the 6 months. These averages are compared to their expected productivity. However, the expectation changes - it may be 60% for a while, then change to 50%. Initially, I was averaging the expectation, along with the productivity, but what I'm being asked is to look at the average productivity/performance compared to...

I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't find any postings. I have a table that has weekly inspections for multiple buildings. What I need to do is break these down by the week of the month of my choosing. Let me explain; I can get my week numbers no problem. I can get the date from the week numbers no problem. What I haven't been able to do is put things together and make a simple function that will allow my users to select from...

Hi, I have created a report that totals the number of days it took a product to ship by percentage by a date range for a specific location. My data comes from a query with the following headers: I used a count iff to calculate the following headers in the report. This is a percent of the total number of packages.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
